| I started It’s Just Another Blog during my sophomore year in high school. At the time it was mainly a portfolio for my web and graphic design work. I quickly learned that my calling was not in either field and in time it became more and more about my life until I realized no one cared about high school kids anymore. Starting in 2007 it was transformed into a blog about music and movies. Lately I enjoy writing mainly about movies but I also take the time to discuss new music every now and then — you can find most of that at For the Sound. After a short while I made the move into getting my own domain name and snatched up www.itsjustanotherblog.com. I originally planned it to house not only my own views but some of my friends’ as well. That ended almost before it got started.
As for my movie taste, some of my favorites include Casablanca, Amadeus, Pulp Fiction, and more recently The Lives Of Others and The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. I’d like to think my taste in movies is broader than most but since I have problems liking major blockbusters (AKA Transformers) that probably isn’t so true. For a movie to get a good review from me it just needs to have a good set of likable actors and a semi-feasible plot (or, in some cases, an incredibly ridiculous one.) When I’m not writing I’m a full time student at North Dakota State University majoring in Business Administration. Since my time is often occupied by work or school there are often long periods of time when nothing is posted. Don’t fret during these moments; I usually make a fairly decent comeback.
