Breaking News: Burn After Reading Trailer Released

Not so much breaking as it is just really exciting. I figured I could probably use “breaking” in the title since Fox News can use it to report that cotton candy sales have gone up 4%. That’s made up, but they’ve used it for some pretty ridiculous stuff (just watch Outfoxed and you’ll know what I mean). Now that I’ve successfully wasted a few sentences on that useless stuff we can talk about the subject at hand. Burn After Reading, the Coen Brother’s follow up to last year’s Oscar winning No Country for Old Men, has me all giddy inside. Why? Because:

1. Brad Pitt is playing off that creppy laugh again, just not to the point of insanity like in Twelve Monkeys.
2. George Clooney is an ultra cool playboy who seems to be on a sexcapade (but this time he’s the one getting played).
3. It looks like Craig Schwartz is still inside John Malkovich’s head.
4. Tilda Swinton and Frances McDormand could very well be the hidden gem(s) inside the madness of Burn After Reading.
5. J.K. Simmons, guess what, plays another perfect role to complement his witty boss persona.
