What If Michael Myers Had A Sense Of Humor?
I’m admittedly a very huge fan of the first Halloween film and probably more than most. The stalker vibe of the first half of the film is incredibly creepy and shows an amazing sense of restraint on the director’s part. My favorite parts of the film are the scenes where Michael is just standing outside of a window, or just following his soon-to-be victims. The following video is a parody of those moments and is actually well done and sort of reminds you how incredibly lame Halloween could have been without John Carpenter.
Some of these “outtakes” are pretty stupid but I still found it collectively amusing since none of them are very long anyway. I especially love the first one since it feels oddly subdued, like the film was. They could have killed it by having Michael do something really obnoxious like wave or something. Plus, anything with a good Say Anything reference is alright with me.
